Geezers Save the World 17: The Imitation Anomaly

By Andrew Fowler and Colonel Fowler

The Geezers saved the world so many times that the world started copying them.

Arty McAllister, Cecil Handle, and Bernard Thompson thought they were done. The anomalies were quieter. The universe felt... stable. Then the copycats arrived-branded RV convoys, influencer heroes, licensed chaos-response teams, and a government agency determined to regulate improvisation itself.

What begins as a harmless imitation spirals into catastrophe. Copycat interventions collide. Bureaucracy feeds feedback loops. Reality starts learning the wrong lessons-and repeating them.

As the Civic Anomaly Response Network (CARN) attempts to license chaos, the Geezers confront an impossible truth: they didn't just fix the world-they taught it how to break itself.

With reality unraveling, UFOs observing, Bigfoot anchoring collapsing zones, and raccoons enforcing rules they barely understand, the Geezers must dismantle their own legacy before it destroys everything.

Funny, sharp, and unexpectedly reflective, The Imitation Anomaly transforms the series from absurd adventure into a satirical myth about aging, responsibility, and knowing when it's time to stop teaching-and start letting go.
