Dr. Behrooz Sethna , President , University of West Georgia describes Jagdish Agrawal as a " man of great talent ." Dr. Shyam Lal Srivastava of Allahabad University , finds Dr. Agrawal " a KARMAYOGEE . " Jagdish Agrawal was picked up by Dr. Ram Prasad Tripathi to teach at the University of Saugar , in Madhya Pradesh , the only University in the State . Jagdish taught students older than himself . The students came here from all over India . Some of his students like Waman Kalmegh , ended up as the Vice-Chancellor Of Nagpur University . Also , Mr. Ashok Vajpeyi , famous Hindi Critic and Poet , rose to be the Chairman of Lalit Kala Academy of New Delhi . Jagdish stayed at Sagar until he left for Hull , England to do his Ph.D in Electro-Luminescence of ZnS-Mn, Cl single crystals . Jagdish grew his own single crystals with various doping levels of Manganese . After obtaining Ph.D under Prof. G.F.J. Garlick , Jagdish Returned to India with his wife Sarla , and two infant sons PAWAN ( born February 27 , 1964 ) and PALLAVA ( born March 02 , 1965 ) By boat via Suez Canal , in August of 1966 . Dr. Jagdish Agrawal established the Phosphor Group At National Physical Laboratory , New Delhi . The restless Dr. Jagdish Agrawal joined the Electrical Engineering Department of City College of New York . Dr. Agrawal Moved to milder and healthier climate of Atlanta , GA in July of 1970 . Dr. Jagdish Agrawal started composing Hindi Poems in December of 1945 . After retirement in the year 2000 , Dr. Agrawal Became a full time free-lance writer of Hindi Poetry .
