One of the really nice things about using this technique to construct your flying geese blocks is that you don't need to cut any triangular pieces, draw any lines on the fabric, or work with the bias. This flying geese block (sometimes known as 3-D flying geese) is made entirely with squares and rectangles.And since many of the patterns do not require a whole lot of background or purchased fabric, this technique is great way to use up all your scraps!
