There are places where silence is not absence, but resistance. Gaza is one of them. And this book is born right there-not
physically, but spiritually-at the point where the word meets the limit, and crosses it.

The stories that follow do not pretend to explain, resolve, or console. They are fragments, visions, voices that look out on the edge of the wound. Some are ironic, others poetic, still others simply human. All are born from a dialogue: between me and myself. Yet, above all between memory and present, between indignation and hope.

Writing was like talking to an invisible witness
(imaginary): a mirror that does not reflect, but relaunches. Together we have tried to give shape to what finds no space in the news, in official speeches, in comfortable silences.

This book is not an answer. It is an open question. Because the word, alone, is not enough.
