Garibullah Gopeah's Descendants: in black and white

Garibullah Gopeah arrived, in British Guiana, in 1866, at the age of 4, with his mother Suppeity. His father Sorehur, was not with them. In his mother Suppeity's document, we see that her father's name is Boolauty, their caste was Dosaud. Her occupation: farmer. They came from the district of Arrah, the present Bhojpur Garibullah Gopeah's mother, Suppeity, died the following year at the age of 26. He became an orphan in a strange country and without family.
