Gardens in the Sun

By: Secrett, Louise C.

This is a truly absorbing and enjoyable memoir, taking a look back at growing up on a nursery farm across the '60s and '70s, with the background music of that era, into adulthood in the West End of London in the '80s/'90s and finishing with the ever-changing years, of the millennium. It is also an enhancing tribute to the author's late mother 'Timmie', a former ballet dancer and artist. Full of charming, vintage holiday anecdotes and with a certain pathos; not denying trials along the way, the story is held together by faith in God the father, in the hope that all who read, will find His peace and joy, throughout their own journey in life.
