Jesus used everyday things to teach us about His love, such as a door, a path, some seeds, or weeds. He often used the word 'consider' as he began parables. The word consider means to think about...ponder...contemplate what is about to be said. It begs the listener to dig a little deeper.
Garden Parables are all about...considering and are created as a month-long devotional for families (to be read over and over). Each of the 30 parables looks at a different plant or animal and how it interacts with others and with the Gardener, the one who cares for all who live there.
Along the way, you'll learn about plants and animals that might show up in your backyard, but more importantly, you will learn about God's love and care for you. From time to time, when you see a turtle, poison ivy, or a sparrow flitting across the sky, we hope you'll stop to 'consider' and remember how deeply God loves you.
So...consider.
