About the Author

Randy L. Quinn lives not far from Wichita in El Dorado, Kansas. After retiring in 2020, he and his wife, Ronda, moved there to be closer to their daughter. Since retiring, Randy has done some travelling, some reading, and some writing. His first two books were limited edition, self-published works. Since then, he has published two other books: Voices Overheard (C.S.S. Publishing, 2023) and Sam's Place (RoseDog Books, 2025). He has long been fascinated by presidential history and has a goal in retirement of visiting each of the presidential libraries. It is one of those stories that provided the beginnings of this current work.
