Yet he sets up even more projects as well as being tasked with a major gun shootout in Birmingham. Whilst the C-Cut team works cases, CS Mason starts to discipline officers of all ranks that are rude, colour prejudiced or not doing their jobs right. This leads to the Commissioner and Home Secretary asking him to set up a new section to do these things.
