It was as you hurried along a path flanked by deep, darkening woods as evening fell. Suddenly, a goblin wielding a club appeared, blocking your path from between the trees Had it been drawn by the delicious scent of the bread? Or... You clutched the basket to protect the bread inside, backing away and turning to flee. But behind you, two more goblins stood in your path-unarmed, but still blocking your escape The next instant, excruciating pain shot through your head like a blow, nearly making you drop the basket. You were beaten with clubs, bitten, clawed, and most of your bread was stolen. At the very moment your life was about to be taken, you limped away, barely escaping with just one piece of bread clutched in your hands. One more blow and you would surely have died.
