The Game Is Afoot: A Shadow Holmes and Watson Mystery

By David Raymond

Forbidden from pursuing her calling, Shadow Holmes, the great-granddaughter of Mycroft Holmes, Sherlock's older-and smarter-brother, works for her father selling real estate in Miami. To compound matters, Shadow has no idea her father is the director of The Bee, a clandestine British spy agency, until she and her parents are poisoned by the bewitching-and decidedly evil- Professor Jane Moriarty. Enter Watson, our charming canine raconteur with a Holmesian mystery of his own, Tuesday Hudson, Sherlock's stoned granddaughter, and Inspector Archie Lestrade of Scotland Yard, propelling Shadow into the detective life of her ancestors. Can Shadow solve the trail of murders taking place in the homes her father listed for sale before Moriarty destroys the world in favor of an evil one of her own creation?Bestselling author David Raymond sets his books in Florida, a state presenting infinite possibilities for fiction writers to not have to make stuff up.
