By Heddrick McBride and McBride Collection of Stories

Book Description:

Game Changers: Leaders of P.S. 15 Q is a powerful collection of ten inspiring short stories that celebrate the voices, dreams, and leadership of elementary students at Jackie Robinson Elementary School in Queens, New York. Rooted in themes like perseverance, teamwork, courage, advocacy, and inclusion, each story showcases young students overcoming challenges and stepping into leadership roles in their classrooms, on the field, and within their community.

From Darius, who learns the value of persistence through flag football tryouts, to Chloe, who discovers her strength in STEM by fixing her team's robot, these relatable characters reflect the heart and resilience of today's youth. Whether it's standing up for a friend, starting a new club, or finding confidence on stage, the students of P.S. 15 Q prove that age is no barrier to making a difference.

Inspired by the legacy of Jackie Robinson, this book is perfect for young readers, educators, and families seeking stories that uplift, empower, and highlight the leadership potential in every child.
