Gall bladder conditions like gall stones or gall bladder infection are common surgical conditions . These conditions are treated with antibiotics to treat the infection or gall bladder surgery to remove the gall bladder called as cholecystectomy.
However an uncommon condition is gall bladder cancer which may co-exist with gall stones .
Gallbladder cancer can be cured only if it is found before it has spread. Most gall bladder cancer are found when they have grown beyond the gall bladder . Then the chance to survive, called prognosis, often the poor.
