Gail Whale Almost Fails

By Brandy Mincer

The big day is almost here... but what if you don't feel ready? The Aquarium Pals are excited for their upcoming talent show--everyone except Gail Whale. She loves to sing, but there's just one problem: she can't quite reach the high notes at the end of her song. The more she practices, the more nervous she becomes. When the day of the show arrives, Gail is nowhere to be found. Can her friend Olivia Octopus help her find the courage to try again? With a gentle reminder from the story of Peter walking on water, Olivia shares an important truth: when we keep our eyes on Jesus, He gives us the strength to keep going--even when we feel like we're sinking. Perfect for young readers, families, and classrooms, this heartwarming tale reminds us that we don't have to be perfect--we just have to keep our eyes on Him.
