A story about faith and friendship.
Eighteen-year-old Nicholas Brennon is the biggest, most feared bully at Jamestown High. He's also the most selfish person in town. All Nicholas cares about is hanging out with his three best friends-Rory, Tim, and Lexi-fellow delinquents who act as his henchmen, and excelling at basketball so he can earn a sports scholarship to a top university. Nicholas never thought about treating his classmates right, and he could care less about the sufferings of others. He won't even spend time with his younger siblings, who look up to him, or his loving grandmother, who's getting on in years.Nicholas has no plans to change either, thinking he's the coolest guy around the way he is, until, one day, he receives a visit from Gabriel, an angel of the Lord, who tells him he must change his ways. Initially, Nicholas is resistant to changing, even after learning what Gabriel is and seeing what awaits him in the afterlife if he continues on the path he's on. However, as Nicholas's friendship with Gabriel deepens, and the pair begin aiding several of Nicholas's classmates who are in need, Nicholas begins to realize that what's most important in life isn't popularity or sports scholarships, but the relationships he can have with others.
