“Just an Illusion” Performed by Imagination.

F/X (also known as or subtitled Murder by Illusion) is a 1986 American action-thriller movie. You may recognize a few of the actors as Bryan Brown and Brian Dennehy, among others. A movie special effects man is hired by the witness protection police to fake a real-life mob killing for a witness protection plan; something goes wrong, and he is wanted for murder. But who is trying to dispatch him first? Now the special-effects man Roland 'Rollie' Tyler (Bryan Brown) will have to use his skills to get out of the situation. We get to see shoot-em-ups, real and fake, car chases, funny and scary, and other mysterious actions. Police Lt. Leo McCarthy (Brian Dennehy) suspects other hanky-panky. Will he discover the truth or just gum up the works? We watch as the action proceeds and get our chance to kibitz.
