Fuz and the Skunk is a true story~~~up to a point. As a family living on a remote cattle ranch in Southeastern Arizona, we were plagued with a variety of rodents. Rats, mice, squirrels and yes even skunks, took up residency in hay barns, oat bins and tack rooms. Cats and kittens, through the centuries have been the best means of keeping these "critters" in check. Our ranch cats had access to every dwelling and out building on the property. Our barn cats were fed daily with fresh dry cat food, but now and again an old stinker would invade the tack room to raid the kitten's rations and we'd be greeted in the early morning hours with the rancid odor of SKUNK! This is the story of Fuz and her adventures with "Ole Mr. Skunk" and how she and the barn cats helped save a hated foe.
