A Futuristic MoU by President Trump and Three Strategic Transformations

Motivation for writing this book derives from the strategic paradigm shift in USA that President Donald J. Trump has introduced with respect to the relationship with Iran that the new paradigm seeks to transform. The new direction is to acknowledge Iran as a regional power and devise a framework to accommodate and manage it. It is a departure from previous direction in which USA sought to contain and isolate Iran using maximum pressure. President Trump may have seen the need for and the wisdom in the new paradigm. The trouble with this forward-looking approach is that Israel still dogmatically holds on to its old positions in which it seeks the elimination of Islamic Republic of Iran via a regime change. Israel still argues for containment of Iran into irrelevance, and never-ending pressure of military attacks. President Trump wants to give his new paradigm a chance, while Israel stubbornly stands in the way. The sad part is that Israeli behavior draws apart USA and Israel alliance that has endured over the entire existence of the state of Israel, up till now. This book analyzes the situation and also illuminates the wisdom in the transformational thinking behind the US-Iran Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) formulated by President Trump.
