Comprehensive planning approach to retirement years

This is a unique book which leaves financial planning to other texts, and concentrates instead on life planning. The emphasis is that we may well have 30 years of retirement from the age of 60 to 90. The authors suggest that we build on our experiences of the past in order to prepare for the future. They provide real life examples and add useful appendixes: worksheets and websites. A good planning book!

The Perfect Future is Clear: Read this Book!

This is the most unique book on retirement I've ever encountered. Sure, there are lots of sources on how to ready your finances, but the authors help the reader begin to face some of the emotional and psychological obstacles to the big transition. No longer do we have to "cowboy up" as we head into our retirement. This is a straight-forward lesson plan which every retiring person should consider. While this book is written with Canadian statistics supporting the arguments, it has had tremendous relevance for a Yankee like me!
