There is a saying used in the Divinity that goes, "Where we cast our light, we also create shadows." This is a cautionary warning. A reminder for them that even if the light was cast on themselves, they will still find darkness. These shadows can take many forms such as pride, greed, vanity, and lust. No one is invulnerable to committing any nefarious acts, because no one is perfect. Within the ranks of the Divinity, a system of checks and balances helps to identify these traits and addresses them swiftly. However, sometimes these behaviors can go unnoticed, especially when everyone's attention is divided on external affairs.
When personal ideals are given too much time to manifest, you create a breeding ground for corruption. Can the Divinity find the time to focus on the shadows forming within their own organization, or will they turn a blind eye to the corruption until it is too late?
