En este caso, estamos presenciando un fen meno nico en la historia: el auge de las m quinas parlantes, herramientas dotadas de inteligencia artificial capaces de utilizar el lenguaje natural como los humanos... o incluso mejor que los humanos. Estas m quinas son programadas por sus fabricantes y siguen reglas algor tmicas que no necesariamente respetan los c nones de la normativa ling stica. Separarse de la normativa general puede afectar la claridad de los mensajes y fomentar la aparici n de variantes ling sticas, dialectos digitales o nuevas jergas, que podr an introducir confusi n en el uso de una lengua como el espa ol, hasta ahora regida por una normativa nica y universal.

In our time, five remarkable events are demanding adaptations to official language in a way far more intense than any other technical or social phenomenon has ever affected it throughout history.
The first of these is the recognition of the right to understand as a subjective and enforceable right of citizens. The second is closely linked to the first and requires public authorities and entities providing services of general interest to adopt clear language when addressing the public.
...] The fifth event worth noting, in terms of contemporary impacts on the culture of clear language, is the rapid acceleration of artificial intelligence. In this case, we are witnessing a unique phenomenon in history--the rise of talking machines, AI-powered tools capable of using natural language like humans... or even better than humans. These machines are programmed by their developers and follow algorithmic rules that do not necessarily adhere to traditional linguistic norms. Departing from general linguistic standards could affect message clarity, fostering the emergence of linguistic variants, digital dialects, or new jargon, which may introduce confusion into language usage--like Spanish, which has until now been governed by a universal and singular norm.
