The purpose of life is a deeply personal matter. For some, it may be related to the pursuit of love, family, personal fulfillment, wealth accumulation, satisfaction from knowledge, contribution to society, spirituality, connection to nature, or service to others. The important thing is to explore what truly brings one happiness, fulfillment, and a reason for being, for existing ("raison d' tre"). Time marks well-defined stages in life, which one must take into account in order to plan objectives and goals that contribute to a fuller existence. In life, there are fundamental, unavoidable and irreversible facts that could be called "fundamental truths" (Facts of life). In general terms, we can say that there are two types of fundamental truths: on the one hand, the general fundamental truths of life on which the individual will has no effect, they are outside the will of the person; and on the other hand, the personal fundamental truths where the will of the human being does intervene. It is important to have a life plan or strategy that does not mean that everything is absolutely defined, neither in what is going to be done, nor how it is going to be done, nor where nor with whom. In other words, the variables that intervene in the meaning of the evolution of life have not been found; there are not enough experiences to generate the conclusions of the precise path to follow. What is certain is that a life plan implies the existence of a sense of development and a direction, which allows us to dedicate ourselves more attentively to creating it and, within it, to continually modify the project. These fundamental truths help us to know what decisions to make in order to have a life based on our desires and dreams that contributes to a fuller life.
