I'm lucky. I have one. My kendo master offered me a shinning new copy about two months ago. Beg, borrow or steal it. Sell your car and your house; sell your mother and/or your wife; if your serious about your kendo, I dont know how, but you must get a copy of the book. You won't regret it.
One of the best reference books for kendo practitioners.

It is unfortunate that this book is out of print. This was once the required text for the International Summer Kendo Seminar held each year in Saitama, Japan. It is one of the best reference books for kendo practitioners. It contains step-by-step instructions and photographs on basic kendo techniques and kendo kata. It also covers basic history, philosophy, and tournament rules and regulations in an easy reference format. You may hear rumors of an updated version in the works, but I wouldn't hold my breath. This rumor has been around for as long as the book has been out of print. Although some of its content is outdated, it is still worth getting a copy, if you can find one. There were versions printed in Japanese, English, and French.
A classic!
