Why did Chinese creditors pretend it was still New Year's Eve on New Year's Day? What do young men and women expect to get by throwing oranges into the river on the fifteenth night after New Year's... This description may be from another edition of this product.
This little book (91 pages) appears to be geared toward children but I would highly recommend it to adults wanting a concise overview of Chinese holiday traditions. It's well organized and the cartoon sketches are wonderful. One thing that I really appreciate is that the romaniztions are in pinyin, not Wade-Giles, or the author's improvisation and the simplified characters are given for several of them.
