Fun Projects For Dad And The Kids

As kids, we dreamed of making these projects. We spent hours pooring over the book; but now the members of my family can't find it. The projects were very unusual; the cannon, the pirate ship, etc. I'm now going to have a baby, and my husband and I want to have this book for our children.

This is a must have book if you are handy and have kids!!

I owned this book as a child and used it for small projects such as the cannon (my attempt of it at least) and dreamed of someday being able to build the larger projects. Now as a father , I want to build the pirate ship detailed in the wonderful illustrations of this book. Unfortunately I cannot find my copy of this book and I would really like to get my hands on another.

GREAT Inspiration for creative building!

I originally bought this book before I ever owned a drill or saw. The ideas are inspirational & highly creative! David Stiles is the common man's Disney... Now with wife Jeanie, they are "hammering" out a do-it-yourself empire. Why is this book out of print?????

A Must Have for All Parents

I obtained this book from a library and fell in love with it. After unsuccessful attempts to purchase it, I copied the entire book, and EVERY page was worth it! It is full of wonderfully creative projects to make with your children. I especially liked the tank made from plywood. It is self propelled and comes with a gun that quirts water (made from a bicycle pump!). Get your hands on this book any way you can - your kids (and all the kids in the neighborhood) will thank you for years to come!
