Frosty the Snowman is a name synonymous with Christmas since the popular Christmas song written by Walter "Jack" Rollins and Steve Nelson was first recorded by Gene Autry and the Cass County Boys in 1950, and later recorded by Jimmy Durante. Since his inception, Frosty has gone on to star in dozens of books, TV specials, and even comic books. Frosty has been a familiar and wonderful part of Christmas for multiple generations of children around the world.
