Very good all around Frontpage book.

Very good attention to adviced aspects of Frontpage. Not just a reference book, but has step by step examples. Covers every subject even remotely related to Frontpage.

Excellent resource for creating web sites using FrontPage!!!

I found this book to be all I needed to get to work on creating web pages using FrontPage. I especially liked the comprehensive examples that allowed me to work thru the various elements of putting a web page or site together. The more advanced features were described in enough detail to give a good understanding without going so deep that I felt overwhelmed. I hope these two authors collaborate on a book for the next version of FrontPage!

Every single cent, well spent!!!

I needed a book on Frontpage 98 quickly. I have come to like the books published by Osborne publishing. Now, I know for sure that they make some effort to see that not every Tom, Dick and Harry's books are published on different subjects. I have purchased 6 osborne books and each one is a gem. FrontPage 98 top's it all. Very Well written book and the CD has lot of useful material. GO FOR IT!!!

An easily understood, comprehensive reference.

I am a new user of FrontPage 98 and a new web developer for my company and myself. I needed a reference that would explain how to do what I wanted to do, cover tips not in the on-line help, and suggest ways to jazz up my web presentation. This reference covered all points. It provides a CD with many helpful and useful scripts, themes, and FrontPage components to enhance your project. It breaks down the information into easily understood and logical sections. The tutorials are step-by-step and fully explained. It even covers how to develop your own themes and templates. The tutorial on MS Image Composer was invaluable. I can highly recommend this book to the new FrontPage user. I don't think you'll find a better reference anywhere.

Fantastic book + a CDROM that is worth the price alone!

I am working on my own website for my private practice and found Microsofts documentation on FrontPage98 to be ....well soft. "The Complete Reference: FrontPage 98" by Matthews and Poulson is what you need in order to really use the resources that MS FrontPage98 makes available to you. The topper is that the CD-ROM included has many of the books own tutorials in disk format for you to use AND about a dozen or so shareware programs that will really add to your pages (WebForms doesn't require CGI support). If you own FrontPage98 and want to learn how to make the most of it - buy this book.
