It is a chronological history of the endurance of captured West African black natives bought or kidnapped from villages and subjected to the initial dehumanization process as slaves--like cattle, being herded through the various dangerous and treacherous African terrains--the nightmare of the middle crossing of the Atlantic Ocean, the auctioning process as plantation owner's property, and surviving plantation life.

This the cost of a movement to legitimized true freedom that resulted in a cultural shift to being true Americans and the legacy of a family of surviving descendants that reflects this determination by consistently challenging future generations to continue to strive for self-determination as proud Americans.
