From the sixth hour to the ninth hour is a multi-themed novel. The themes are about homeland, war, religion. Son's family has five brothers. Two brothers are "communist" soldiers, two brothers are enlisted in the National army. When the war was fierce, facing the risk that all of his children would die if they joined the army, the father kept his youngest son to "preserve the race". Son became a young man who "evaded both sides, had no job, no ideal". This youngest son met his real brothers. This meeting was not only for Son but for the whole nation after the war, with very painful truths.
