Incidents that happened to the author during his 15 months in Combat Engineers and 11 months in Huey helicopters during the Vietnam War.

The author was 19 when he went to Vietnam and served in Combat Engineers and Huey Helicopters for a total of 26 months. When he returned, he obtained a BS in Civil Engineering using the GI Bill. He worked as a General Contractor for 25 years and then obtained an MS in Structural Engineering. He is still working as a structural engineer at age 74. Along the way he got married, had 3 children and 9 grandchildren.
