**From Struggles to Strength: My Journey of Redemption**
I grew up in St. Joseph, Louisiana, with both parents in the household. My father worked as a chief engineer on a ship, and I initially followed in his footsteps. However, during my younger years, partying and experimenting with drugs alongside my wild cousin took precedence over my responsibilities. This reckless behavior led to my dismissal from the boat company, leaving me feeling as though I had embarrassed my dad.
Afterward, I found myself working in the oilfield and starting a family with a daughter. However, a workplace accident resulted in a substantial lawsuit worth $1,000,000, which took me to Miami. Here, I was swept up in a lifestyle filled with exotic Cuban and Latino women, luxurious mansions, and fast cars. Unfortunately, this led me to become entangled with the Mexican drug cartels, trafficking drugs between Louisiana and Houston from 2015 to 2020. I mingled with A-list celebrities and engaged in activities I never imagined I would.
Eventually, my past caught up with me when I discovered I had a warrant out for my arrest. I went on the run for nine months, hiding out in a trap house in Atlanta with a girlfriend. During this time, I struggled with addiction, becoming strung out on crystal meth. Ultimately, I chose to turn myself in and faced charges for conspiracy with intent to distribute cocaine. I served five years in federal prison.
While incarcerated, I found solace and strength in my faith, building a relationship with Jesus Christ. This spiritual awakening marked the beginning of my transformation. Upon my release, I moved back to Houston to be with my daughter and focused on rebuilding my life.
I started a trucking company and launched a clothing brand with a storefront, all while dedicating my time to giving back to the community. I became actively involved in nonprofit organizations that help find housing for the homeless, aiming to make a positive impact on the lives of those in need.
My journey has been one of redemption, and I am grateful for the opportunity to turn my life around. I hope to inspire others who may be facing similar struggles, showing that change is possible and that it is never too late to make a difference.
