Keyser has a masters degree in human development from Pacific Oaks College. She is the coauthor of Becoming the Parent You Want to Be.

Excellent resource for teachers and administrators

This book is a wonderful resource on how to interact and work with parents and families of all types in a school setting. It has many professional development activities embedded within the chapters. My school's director thought highly enough of this to focus a day of Professional Development around this book and buy a copy for each classroom.

Very Good

Keyser does a wonderful job of making the empowerment of parents a relatively smooth process for early childhood professionals...but the key is to ASSESS, PLAN, IMPLEMENT, and ASSESS again. Excellent.
