A letter arrived more than sixty years later, stirs the memory of that old Palestinian immigrant, who remembers that he left his nephew that Stradivarius violin from his grandfather as his only treasure, since he had stayed in Palestine amidst the misery and destitution of a life with no future in the Gaza Strip.
Apparently, the strange letter sent by a Jewish woman, postmarked in Washington D.C., invites him to attend a concert of the Symphony Orchestra of that city.
It tells the life story of two families, one Jewish and the other Palestinian, in the midst of the vicissitudes of an ancient conflict between their peoples and a love story that emerges between two people who, despite ethnic and religious differences, make the decision to unite their lives.
A historical novel, which shows not only the novelized account of a story, but the thread, through time, of a conflict in which both Jews and Palestinians have suffered.
