This book kept me turning the pages over and over again. The characters are well thought out and alive. Very moving story. The neighborhood is as alive as its characters. Excellent.

From out of Red Hook kept you longing for the next page the characters were incredible and the mysterious ways they were portrayed was great. And if you ever lived in brooklyn you will find here description very nostalgic. And if you are not from brooklyn the streets will come alive as she describes brooklyn as if it was one of the living characters. I highly recomend From out of Red Hook it will keep you in suspense the whole way through...
