Quality is better than Quantity

Churches are sometimes no different than mainstreet businesses. They focus on getting more people into the doors and in the pews, hoping to covert them regular members. Once they are regular members they can become regular financial givers to the church programs. This falacious thinking has led to the general decline of most Christian faiths today. Pastor Michael Foss uses the New Testament book of Acts to demonstrate that it is more important to have Disciples in the congregation than to have members. Members take up space, but Disciples create more space by reaching out to others. This small easy-to-read book of Leadership Lessons is something that all church leaders (as well as leaders of other charitable organizations) should read and take to heart.
