"Make love, not war." I was a proud hippie, living life on the edge of cultural revolution

until I was drafted into the army. After serving my year, life took an unexpected turn.

I met the love of my life, the woman I've been blessed to call my wife for nearly 50 years.

Who would have thought that a free-spirited, anti-war activist like me would one day find peace

not only love but also in faith? This is my journey from the street of protest to the pulpit as a preacher,

a path shaped by love, grace and the hand of God.
