From Here to Eternity

By: Randolph Riecker

Our lives on this small planet are only temporary, be it for 60, 80, 100 or more years. Closer to the end of our natural lives, our physical bodies will wither away and die. We all know that we're composed of mind, body and soul. However, as our bodies are perishable, our souls are indestructible, so to speak. When we give up our final breaths our souls will pass away into another dimension. Where that happens to be is the choice we're given by our creator. We've all been given a free choice by our God, from the moment we're born, to the way we live our lives, until our last and final breath. Our lives generally reflect the choices we've made. Life is a journey and we're travelling along the road. Inevitably, we'll come to a fork in the road, where we'll be faced with a choice of which road to take - the wide road or the narrow road. This choice will have a profound impact upon the rest of our lives and beyond. It's up to us where we choose to spend our time in eternity.
