De la cr ation la saturation du concept (From Creation to Conceptual Saturation) takes a look at artistic conceptualization, through the case study of relational aesthetics. We owe this conceptualization to Nicolas Bourriaud, whose work of the same name, published in 1998, theorizes some of the artistic practices of the 1990s. The present research invites us to put the concept and its critics into perspective, now that the advent of the Internet has come and gone. The following reflection looks at the definition of the innovative concept, its relevance and the art it designates. This study returns to the elements thought in relation, notably the mode of relation and the model of sociality described in Esth tique relationnelle. Our aim is therefore to study conceptualization through the prism of the changing characteristics of definitions of art. Finally, our analysis will address the principles emanating from Relational Aesthetics in order to study the saturation of such conceptualization, as well as its fruitfulness.
