The title says it all

A fast, easy read. I also found it very relevant to the problems and struggles we are all facing. This book was written in 2006 and in that respect, this book is like a prophetic script begging us to open our eyes. Though this book is not an apocalyptic revelation of the end of the world. It is a practical account of why we have reached this point in humanities evaluation, not just financially, but with all of the globe's endeavors: socially, politically, individually & philosophically. The solution is in recognizing our connection with everyone and everything in a way we've never considered before we began to suffer. And further explains that we need to this on a scale that can actually reverse further suffering, by revealing a truer purpose; profound love and connection between everyone. If you've ever been curious about what Kabbalah is all about this book can put you on the right path and will offer an explanation for any crisis you may be experiencing.

When I first became interested in Kabbalah, this book was recommended to me, and it was my first introduction to the concepts which Rav Laitman teaches. This is a well-written and accessible book that helps us understand why the world is the way it is, and how we can make it better. If you are not familiar with Rav Laitman's writings, this is a great book to read first. Very timely and informative, and written with great concern for his readers Rav Laitman's book gave me the desire to read more, to discover and dig deeper, which I have done. This is the greatest thing any writer could hope for.

Help sorting out the chaos in my mind

At last I have a glimmer of hope for the world! As I looked at the world situation, all I could see was suffering, confusion and selfishness. There is so much beauty and joy in both nature and in man, but we seem intent on destroying it all. This book gave me a sense of why this is happening, how all the pieces connect together, and the potential for restoration of harmony in life. This book was my introduction to Kabbalah. After reading it, I wanted more.
