Bob's Review

This volume is typical of the eight volume Norton Library History of England, in my opinion. Quite readable, with sufficient detail so I felt satisfied I'd gained a better understanding of that time. Although written in the 60's, it seems totally up-to-date. The book is a worthwhile overview.
