From Broken Pieces to Masterpieces

What does it mean to become "Broken?" The Merriam-Webster Collegiate Dictionary gives several definitions for "Broken." One definition provided is "Violently separated into parts: SHATTERED." Another definition given is "Damaged or altered by or as if by breaking." A third definition given is to be "Made weak or infirm." No matter which definition we use, it is not good to become "Broken." When we become "Broken," we are no longer whole - we are no longer complete. We become separated into many pieces. When we become "Broken," what should we do with the many "Broken" and "Shattered" pieces of our lives? Those who are wise, will take the "Broken Pieces" of their lives and place them in the hands of the One who can take all our "Broken Pieces," put them together again, and turn them into His Great "Masterpiece." As you read this book, you will find people whose lives had become broken simply because of the everyday trauma of living in a world that is filled with trouble: a world filled with many trials and tribulations. It is my desire that all who find themselves "Broken" will place themselves in the hands of the One who can make us all become His Great "Masterpiece."
