From 450 to Faithful: How God Changed More Than My Weight

By Mattie Hubbard—Donald

From 450 pounds to faithful - this is the story of a woman God rebuilt from the inside out.

Mattie Hubbard Donald didn't just lose weight.
She lost shame.
She lost fear.
She lost the version of herself she never agreed to become.

For years, she survived behind emotional eating, silent pain, and the heaviness of a body that felt too heavy for her spirit. But God met her at 450 pounds - not with judgment, but with grace. Not with condemnation, but with identity. Not with pressure, but with purpose.

In this raw, prophetic, and deeply honest memoir, Mattie reveals:

- The emotional weight she carried long before the physical weight
- The gas-station-kitchen moment that changed her life
- The five vegan years that became her unexpected deliverance
- The Daniel fast that exposed what her body truly needed
- The day God shifted her from discipline to stewardship
- The $12 season that taught her obedience, budgeting, and trust
- The toddlers who became her trainers
- The rebuilding that happened one surrendered day at a time

This book is not about dieting.
It is about returning - to identity, to discipline, to purpose, to God.

If you've ever eaten to numb pain...
If you've ever survived instead of lived...
If you've ever wondered if God still sees you...
If you've ever felt too far gone to change...

This book is your confirmation:

You are not too late.
You are not too broken.
You are not too far gone.
You are becoming.

From 450 to Faithful is a testimony of what happens when a woman stops living halfway free and finally becomes the woman God always saw.
