Frogville was a lush oasis until a traveling wizard cursed it. The lake became a dirty swamp, and all boys became frogs on their thirteenth birthday. Along the way, she meets Larry The Lawyer, who tells her he is defending a young man named Jack, who is accused of stealing the only magic beans left that can grow the beanstalk that allows one to climb all the way up to Overearth. When Lily tries to help defend Jack, the Garden Queen places her on trial. Now, Lily and Jack must evade the Garden Queen, retrieve the magic beans, plant them and hope the beanstalk grows, so Lily can return home.
