Great Book about Frogs

Gail Gibbons once again provides an excellent nonfiction book that can be easily understood by elementary school students. I read this book to second and third graders each year. My only quibble is with the use of the word "vegetarian" instead of "herbivore". I love the diagram that compares frogs and toads. Consider pairing this book with Arnold Lobel's Frog and Toad books.

Information rich book. Perfect for first and second graders!

The detailed illustrations in this book keep my second graders focused. The vocabulary is rich and the scientific information is clear and easy to understand.
