Friendship and Faith

Bonet Byton Kamwela is an ordained minister in the CCAP Synod of Livingstonia in Northern Malawi. He has an MA in Theology and Religious Studies from Mzuzu University, a BTh from Livingstonia University and a Diploma in Theology from the University of Malawi. He is the author of "Married and No Sex anymore" and three books in Tumbuka. He has served in different congregations in the synod. Currently he is serving in Vibangalal Congregation in Loudoun Presbytery. He is married to Roselyne and blessed with three children.

Orwell and Portmoak Congregation in Perth Presbytery in Scotland is in partnership with Mombwe Congregation in the CCAP Synod of Livingstonia in Malawi. The coordinators were friends in the faith before they met each other. Mombwe Congregation benefited a lot from the partnership. Ruary has also personally done great works both in Perth and Mombwe. He was a man of deep faith putting all his trust in his Lord Jesus Christ. He was an inspiration for many. His contributions in Perth Presbytery and in Mombwe Congregation were almost beyond measure. He will always be remembered. May his soul rest in peace.
