Excellent Telling of a moment in Michigan History

This is a wonderful retelling of the Crosswhite Affair that took place in the 1850's. The Crosswhite's are a family of fugitive slaves that run from Kentucky to Marshall, MI. The people of Marshall band together to help the Crosswhites flee from slave catchers. It also contains a great story about friendship.
