Friendhaven shows a new society where resilience is based on support, a community more courteous than that we currently live in. Friendhaven is a new type of prepper manual. Set as an adventure story, it's a template for starting a Utopian community. Agriculture based on trees and kindness to animals. With sustainable infrastructure built to survive climate driven catastrophes. Their social system is based on community not the nuclear family. A society where violence and abuse of women and children is eliminated. The gardens and infrastructure created by the leader, are developed by friends fleeing the decaying civilization. To eliminate abuse and domestic violence, the social structure of Friendhaven separates men and women into different lodges. They built a remote cabin where lovers meet. Children are raised with input from the whole community. The community exports food surpluses to local markets, drawing unwanted attention. They have to fight off marauders and an attack from an outlaw motorcycle gang. They support a local town, devastated by the bikers, to rebuild.
