The procedures for basic characterization of the composite is also explained in detail. The book also presents the procedures to join such difficult to weld composites using friction stir welding process, optimization of process parameters to obtain sound weld, tooling techniques and numerical modeling and simulation of the process. The basic characterization of the weldment is also discussed in a separate chapter.
