I love this first collection of poetry from someone I think of as a shining star in the contemporary, and much too often, flabby, world of poets and poetry. Mr. Langan sings, dances, and breathes his warm breathe across the pages. Sometimes he bites. Other times he licks. Mostly, though, his thoughts leave you with those lingering images he so kindly to put into words, for us. This little volume takes me where I want to go. Thanks, Steve. More, please.
