This woman's road trip novel takes the reader on an adventure from prison and 12 step madness to life on the lam. Part cookbook with such delicacies as "Betcha Can't Just Say No Pecan Hash Brownies" and " The Best Goddam Pumpkin Pie in the Known Universe" ; part tarot, part native spirituality - it's a ride on a Harley on a sunny afternoon. This book is not Proust. If you are looking for deep heavy literature this ain't the book for you.
